In a candid moment on theHappy Sad Confusedpodcast in January 2022,Andrew Garfieldadmitted to keeping a secret from his former partner Emma Stone regarding his involvement inSpider-Man: No Way Home.Despite Stone’s persistent inquiries about his role in the film, Garfield consistently gave the same response, choosing to keep the surprise under wraps.
“I was like, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about,‘” he told host Josh Horowitz. Eventually, however, the jig was up. “And then she saw it. She was like, ‘You’re a jerk,‘” Garfield recalled.
