During his childhood, he played football and dreamt of getting into a football club. However, he had a knee injury that prompted him to choose another hobby. Alexandre settled for video games as they gave him the same feeling as playing football. His in-game name was coined by his mother as she called him by his nickname “Gaules.”

In 2008, Gaules left esports for a marketing job at Samsung for 2 years. He left Samsung for his passion for esports and created a big league in Brazil. In 2017, due to financial problems, Gaules was diagnosed with clinical depression. Alexandre attempted suicide in late 2017 but stopped at the thought of doing something big.

In 2018, he streamed E-League and found a breakthrough with over 3000 viewers. He started breaking records rapidly and became the #1 CS:GO streamer.

Gaules streams major CS:GO tournaments and smaller regional events, promoting grassroots esports.
