When Will Samsung Launch The Z Fold 7? New Leak Reveals Date And Time

Samsung is working on the next generation of foldables- theZ Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. While the South Korean giant hasn’t revealed an official launch date, we now have one thanks to a new leak. The Galaxy Unpacked event will take place early next month. Here’s when you can expect the latest foldable to debut.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 To Launch On This Date

According to tipster Evan Blass, the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked will take place on August 23, 2025. It will start at 10 PM EDT (7:30 PM IST and, possibly, in New York City.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 launch date revealed

This is in line with Samsung’s tradition of hosting an annual event in early July. Last year, the event took place on July 11, 2025.

This year’s Samsung Galaxy Unpacked will be special as we will get to see at least 5 new products. These include theGalaxy Z Fold 7,Flip 7, Galaxy Watch 8,Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Watch Ultra 2.

What To Expect From Fold 7 And Flip 7?

Aspreviously teasedby Samsung, the Z Fold 7 will be the thinnest fold phone to date. It will be surprisingly thin, measuring just 4.54mm.

While Samsung likes to call it the “next chapter of Ultra”, the phone is unlikely to have the Ultra moniker. It will have a 200MP primary camera apart from a bigger screen and battery.

Buyers can expect an 8.2-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch cover screen. The latest Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy will power the phone, while the battery capacity will be stuck at 4,400mAh.

Although the phone will boast faster 45W wired charging and support for a new S-Pen with a thicker tip. It will have 16GB of RAM and get 7 years of updates.

Coming to the Z Flip 7, it will have a bigger 4-inch cover display that can go edge-to-edge, while on the inside, you get a 6.85-inch inner display.

For capturing shots, there will be a 50MP primary and a 12MP ultrawide-angle lens. On the front, you get a 12MP selfie camera. Just like the Z Fold 7, it will ship with One UI 8 based on Android 16 out of the box.
