Dwayne Johnson has influenced plenty of fans with his fitness routines and way of living. However, social media star Dan Bilzerian is not a big fan of The Rock’s lifestyle. Bilzerian, who himself grew his account on social media with lavish lifestyle posts, criticized Johnson’s routine for not being healthy at all. Furthermore, he shared that theHobbs & Shawactor couldn’t afford to be his authentic self due to his fame.

Dan Bilzerian is a controversial figure himself after running into several legal troubles over the years. Bilzerian’s attack on theRed Noticeactor didn’t stop there, as he later took to social media to claim that most of The Rock’s social media following is from fake accounts.

Dan Bilzerian Criticized Dwayne Johnson For Not Being Authentic
During an interview with Derek on theMore Plates More Datespodcast, Dan Bilzerian heavily criticizedDwayne Johnson’s lifestyle. Johnson is highly active on social media and occasionally posts about his fitness routines and healthy lifestyle. Bilzerian claimed that what theScorpion Kingactor promotes is not healthy at all and added that the actor isn’t genuine on camera.
Bilzerian shared that Johnson couldn’t afford to lose the fake character he puts on for his audience. According to Bilzerian, there was no point in theBlack Adamstar making millions for his roles if he couldn’t just let go of the persona and do whatever he wanted. Bilzerian shared with theMore Plates More Dates podcast:

“I respect what he’s done, the guy is a fcking beast, he’s amazing and charismatic and always camera ready… He’s like the highest paid actor in the world. I don’t think he’s the best, but he’s still the highest-paid. The thing I don’t like about The Rock is I don’t feel like he gets to be authentic. Here’s the thing, what’s the point of having fck you money if you never get to say f*ck you? I do what I want.”
Bilzerian clearly has some beef with the actor, as he threw in some jibes at theCentral Intelligenceactor throughout his discussion. The professional poker player also criticized Johnson’s body and commented that his body carried too much muscle mass for his age. Bilzerian and host Derek agreed that sustaining such a level of mass was unhealthy in the long run for the WWE legend. Bilzerian shared:

“For him [The Rock], he’s obviously f**king juicing… it’s unhealthy to sustain that level of mass. They show people are giants, like basketball players. It’s just not healthy to be that big.”
Bilzerian also commented on his own authenticity, but it appears that not everyone’s a fan of that authenticity. His wild posts on social media surrounding his wealth and lifestyle have millions of fans, but they also have their fair share of critics.

Dan Bilzerian Called Out Dwayne Johnson For Fake Instagram Followers
Dan Bilzerian took another dig at theJungle Cruiseactor in 2022, this time on Instagram. Bilzerian shared screenshots of both their accounts on his Instagram story to compare the view counts on their videos. Dwayne Johnson’s account boasted 324 million followers (now 392M), but his view counts were much lower than Bilzerian’s, which has just 32.8 million followers.
Bilzerian commented,“That’s weird,”suggesting that theJumanji: Welcome to the Jungleactor might have a considerable fake following. However, Bilzerian’s engagement might not be a testament to him being a better social media figure than Johnson. While The Rock shares personal content on his account, Bilzerian’s content can be best described as thirst traps.
It appears that Bilzerian’s accusations are more of just sour grapes than heartfelt concerns. Nevertheless, there’s no harm for Dwayne Johnson in looking into the merits of Bilzerian’s health claims.
