It is strongly rumored that PresidentKevin Feigeis looking at a soft reboot of MCU withAvengers: Secret Wars.
Author of the Marvel bookMCU: The Reign of Marvel StudiosJoanna Robinson spoke onThe Watchpodcast:
“We have a quote from Kevin Feige sort of implying that, like, Secret Wars will serve as a soft reboot in which they can prune everything… That’s not to use a Loki-ism. [They’ll] prune everything that’s not working and just keep what is [working], or bring back people you thought were gone forever.”
According to trusted scooper CanWeGetSomeToast onX, Kevin Feige has decided to makeSecret Wars“the send-off to not only the current MCU, but all the Marvel movies that came before Iron Man. It’s the Ultimate (soft) reboot.” The scooper also states that this is to “make way for something All New, and All Different.”
Avengers: Secret Warsis a sequel to previousAvengersmovies, includingThe Avengers,Age of Ultron,Infinity War,Endgame,andThe Kang Dynasty. The film is the forty-sixth installment in the MCU, serving as the final chapter of Phase Six and The Multiverse Saga.
