The new dawn of the DCU is just around the corner, and fans as well as the public in general are waiting to see what this new version has in store for them. Leading the charge on this vision are DC Films CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran, who have created a blueprint of what the future of this new cinematic universe will look like.

Therefore, with the advent of a new cinematic universe, the new supervisors have taken some very tough decisions, and there are more that are yet to be taken, especially with who will be the new faces of the franchise going forward. Thus, when the rumors began to spread about a new Batman casting that will be happening, Gunn stepped in to shed light on the situation.
James Gunn Puts A Stop To Jensen Ackles As Batman Rumors
After the decision to dismantle the old management of Warner Bros. Discovery took effect, CEOsJames Gunnand Peter Safran took the initiative, and the first thing they did was decide to do a complete overhaul. This meant the expulsion of stars like Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck from their respective roles. With that situation at hand, many fans were curious about who will be the new faces that will replace them in the upcoming DCU.
Now, as the curiosity of the fans and the public start to rise, rumors are beginning to emerge about the potential casting choices for the vacant roles in the DCU, the most prominent one of them being none other thanThe BoysstarJensen Acklesbecoming Batman in the proposed ‘The Brave and The Bold’ project by Gunn. With the release ofGuardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3,comes the end of the road for Gunn in the MCU, which means he still has a lot of work before him as he now has to oversee the progression of the DCU with all of his attention and energy. Since being declared the new executive of the studio, the director has gone into overdrive, doing all that he can in planning for the future. Along with ‘The Brave and The Bold,’ Gunn has also proposed several other projects such as ‘Superman: Legacy,’ ‘Creature Commandos,’ and many more that will be populating the new DCU.
