And recently, a new dispute was reportedly on the verge of calcifying into a full-fledged feud between the ring leader andFast Xstar Jason Momoa. Diesel, however, seems to have set the record straight about that one.

Did Vin Diesel Throw Jason Momoa Under the Bus?
It’s no secret that the latest installment in theFast & Furiousfranchise failed to impress the critics, save forJason Momoawhose performance turned out to be a delight in what was otherwise deemed as a mediocre action flick. While it’s true thatFast Xreceived a much more agreeable response from the audience and fared well at the box office, the fact of the matter remains that the film garnered mixed reviews at large. And it looks like that didn’t sit well with the leading man of the franchise.
While critics slammed theLouis Leterrier-helmed movie for its outlandish plot and over-the-top action sequences, they sang high praise of theAquamanstar, crowning him as the true star of the show.But seeing Momoa“steal his thunder,”Vin Dieselfound it difficult to contain his contempt toward his co-star. Insiders claimed that –

“Vin is embarrassed Jason is being branded the only bright spot in the film and stealing his thunder in the franchise he built himself.”

FastFamily Locking Horns? Probably Not
Contrary to what the tabloids seem to be saying, Diesel and Momoa don’t seem to be out for blood. In fact, the former seems to be extremely impressed by theSlumberlandstar, if his Instagram post of appreciation is anything to go by.
Besides acknowledging theFastteam for always being“expressive and collaborative,”the actor and producer explicitly mentioned Momoa, appreciating his“unique and special”contribution toFast X.“Jason wanted to try something totally unique and special and ended up creating a scene-stealing character that the world won’t forget,”Diesel wrote.
