One of his claims involved him taking the credit for UFC legend Anderson Silva’s iconic win, which was later brushed off by the UFC champion.

Anderson Silva brushed off Steven Seagal’s claims about inventing the front kick
Back in 2011, one of the most iconic moments in UFC occurred after middleweight champion Anderson Silva knocked out Vitor Belfort in the first round with a front kick to the face. But it didn’t take long forSteven Seagalto take the full credit, as the actor claimed that he was the one that taught Silva the kick, who was considered the best mixed martial artist at that time. Although at first, SIlva felt that theUnder Siegestar might be joking, the UFC champion politely clarified that Seagal had nothing to do with the front kick. He said,
“Seagal is a good man. No coach. No train me. Is a good man. Is a good person. That’s it.”

Back in the 90s. on the sets ofOut of Justice, Steven Seagal allegedly claimed that his aikido training has made the actor invulnerable to choking. However, the 58-year-old Gene LeBell allegedly succeeded in leaving Seagal unconscious with his choke and making him soil his pants. Although the actor denied the story, LeBell’s student Ronda Rousey defended her mentor and even claimed to beat the crap out of the actor. She said,
“if he says anything bad about Gene to my face, I would be forced to do something. I would have to make him crap his pants a second time.”
