Tobey Maguire has always been an incredible actor who has often helped others in need. During the shooting of the 1993 filmThe Boy’s Life,Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio (before hisTitanicfame) had been attached to the project. Not knowing how to conduct himself on set, DiCaprio recalled in an interview with theSAG-AFTRA Foundationin 2014, the moment he had with Maguire when the director told him to leave DiCaprio alone.
“He went up to Tobey, who was goofing off with me right before a dramatic scene, he goes, ‘Leave him alone,’. [Maguire is] like, ‘Why?’ He’s like, ‘An actor prepares,’ and he sent me off to the corner, goes, ‘You go focus on what the scene means.’ And I did.”
Well, it seems that Maguire and DiCaprio were quite friendly on set as the two went on to make it big in Hollywood. TheSpider-Manactor was last seen in the 2023 seriesExtrapolationsand is currently not attached to any other upcoming project at the moment.
