The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, finally hit the theaters on June 16 all over the world. Despite the fact that the film initially got resounding accolades from those who attended its CinemaCon premiere, critics have unanimously pointed out howThe Flash‘s visual effects look unfinished.
Visual effects are one of those areas where it is easiest to notice where there has been a problem. CGI should be subtle; in contrast to bad CGI, which is always noticeable, excellent CGI should never be noticed. And sadly, it seems that this is the case with the recently released movieThe Flash.

The FlashDirector Says Film’s ‘weird’ CGI ‘was intended’
To clarify that it was fully their intention to make the CGI effects look unrealistic, the film’s director and producer partners Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti have now addressed any potential issues with the technology.
The director was referring to a particular moment in which Barry Allen, or The Flash (Ezra Miller), is shown rescuing infants from a nursery while a building collapses around him.
Muschietti said:
“We are in the perspective of The Flash. Everything is distorted in terms of lights and textures. We enter this ‘waterworld’, which is basically being in Barry’s POV [point of view].
“It was part of the design so if it looks a little weird to you that was intended,” he added.
Unfortunately, despite Muschietti’s best efforts to defend its looks,The Flash‘s subpar CGI continues a trend that has been plaguing many DCEU movies.

Fans Think This Will Be Henry Cavill’s Last Appearance As Superman
Along with numerous other Superman variations, a CGI version of Henry Cavill’s Superman appears in the movie. Henry Cavill’s Superman is shirtless, just as he was in theJustice Leagueafter he had returned from the grave and faced off against the other members before joining their side.
The movie doesn’t give shirtlessHenry Cavillmuch of a part. It’s more of a simple nod to the actor who portrayed one of the hero’s versions previously.
However, the CGI model of Cavill isn’t of the highest quality, which fans are already starting to poke fun at.

This could very well be Henry Cavill’s final appearance as Superman. James Gunn is currently halfway through finding a replacement for the role of Superman for the brand-new DCU slate.
