In the particular scene from the 2011 movie as shared byAdam Whitley, Nicholas Hoult’s character Hank McCoy was seen attempting to cure himself of the mutation, by using a hormonal extract. Unfortunately, in that sequence, his experiment backfired and instead enhanced his mutant genes and transformed him into a beast.

Hank McCoy thereafter underwent progressive physiological transformations and gained animalistic physical strength and capabilities. That particular scene was hailed as one of the best transformation scenes in the history of Marvel Studios. Fans believed that despite Hulk’s transformation having a separate fanbase, it was no match to Hoult’s transformation.
