The best way to use Assassin’s Edge in The First Descendant is during Colossus boss fights, where the firearm’s 40% base Critical Hit Rate will really impact the damage you can do. Moreover, Weak Points should be your primary targets, along with canisters to cut short a boss’s ‘rage’ or immunity phase.
To increase the level of your damage, prioritize equipping and leveling mods like Adventurer and Commando Marksmanship. Both will boost your Critical Hit rate and Weak Point damage.
However, the main downside to this gun is the small amount of rounds per magazine and the amount of ammo you’re able to hold. In harder boss fights, it will be ideal to not use this gun all the time, but save it as a backup for immunity phases or the final DPS burn to bring the Colossus down.
