Spoiler Warning:  Don’t read ahead if you haven’t watched the finale of Raven’s Home yet.

Tanya Baxter’s Return

The last time we saw T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh’s Tanya Baxter was back in 2005 inThat’s So Raven’sthird season. Keymáh had to leave the series midway, so her character Tanya was written out by being sent off to law school in London. While Raven was extremely happy to have her mother back, Victor on the other hand reacted in a way that not many would have expected. He wasn’t entirely thrilled because he hadn’t properly spoken to his long-estranged wife for a decade. On top of that, the episode took an interesting turn as Raven had a vision of Victor telling Tanya, “I can’t live like this anymore.”

Raven was afraid that her father wanted to get separated from her mother. But apparently, her interpretation of the vision was totally off the charts because Victor revealed that he actually wanted to move in with his wife in London. He said,“I just can’t live like this anymore. We’ve been living apart for years. I thought I was fine with that, but I saw you today and I realized I’m not.”His decision did come as a bit of a surprise, but it gave a heartfelt ending to season 5.

Even though Victor is moving to London, we can be sure that he’d be back. He won’t stay there for long as whenRaven’s Homeseason 6 was announced at this year’s D23 Expo, Victor actor Rondell Sheridan’s return was also confirmed. So, it’ll be interesting to see how he makes his way back after taking this massive decision in season 5.

Raven’s Homeseason 6 began production in October, so it should arrive in the final quarter of 2023.
