5 Fan Favorite Netflix Shows to Get Their Spin-Off
StarringJenna Ortegain the title role, the Netflix showWednesdayhas been a huge hit for the streamer. Following its release in November 2022, it has become one of the most popular shows on the platform with more than 250 million views last year. It also ranked among the 10 most popular titles in the first half of this year on the streaming platform.
As per Bloomberg, Netflix is planning to expand the series with a spin-off following Fred Armisen’s character Uncle Fester, who made a guest appearance in the seventh episode of the show’s first season. While there is no further information available on the possible spin-off, the reports also suggest that the streamer is planning a series ofAddams Familyshows following the success ofWednesday.
The Witcher
WhileLiam Hemsworthis set to replaceHenry Cavillin the lead role of the showThe Witcher, the makers of the show are also planning to expand the universe with another spin-off. Netflix has already released two spin-offs titledThe Witcher: Nightmare of the WolfandThe Witcher: Blood Origin.
