X-Men’s Storm And Her Enchanted Hammer
Stormcaster first appeared in Marvel Comics’X-Men: Annual #9. The X-Men landed on Asgard, andLokiattempted to manipulate Storm. The god of mischief created an enchanted hammer similar to Thor’s and offered it to her. In the end, she realized that she was being used and that the hammer is actually manipulating her powers.
In theStormfrontissue ofX-Men: To Serve and Protect #3, Storm touched the enchanted hammer and transformed into the Goddess of Thunder. Thor tried to smash Stormcaster to break its hold on her. Many attempts were unsuccessful, and in the end, Thor convinced her to hold the Mjolnir, and they swung it together. The enchanted hammer was ultimately destroyed, setting the mutant free from its powers.
