After Kimmel unearthed a black-and-white photo ofCarrie Fisheralong with her daughter and stepson posing under a giant sign of Dildo, Ryan, who took the picture, recounted the incident. Considering theStar WarsStar was working as a traveling writer for the New York Times at the time, the actress took theWhen Harry Met SallyStar alongside her for their trip to the town of Dildo. Reflecting on her visit to the town located in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador,Meg Ryanlaughingly recalled buying a merch with the town’s name Dildo underneath. Shesaid,
“Carrie wanted to do a piece on the Napoleon surrendering to the British historical reenactment in Dildo, so we did that. We shopped a lot. We got merch. I got a t-shirt with a big happy face and then the name of the town underneath.”

Talking about the town in her piece, the late actress acknowledged the town’s unusual name and even revealed playing the songA Night in Dildoby Arrogant Worms on their trip to the town.

Carrie Fisher’s Music Taste Wasn’t Appreciated by Everyone
While theStar Warsicon’s music taste for the journey was appreciated by most, her daughter Billie Lourd wasn’t too fond of it, as Fisher recalled that while everyone was laughing,“She (Lourd) didn’t think I was funny that day”.Fisherexplained,
“O.K., mostly I sang out clear and loud, and everyone else laughed at me ― everyone but my daughter. She didn’t think I was funny that day. She would rather have been in Toronto or Vancouver. ‘Could you please keep your voice down?’ she admonished me, hunching down in her seat, gazing out the window away from me.”
