Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy Watch 8 series soon, and it will bring a major design overhaul. The South Korean giant will adopt a squircle design for the Watch 8 lineup. Furthermore, the Watch 8 Classic is making a comeback after two years,bringing back the beloved rotating bezel. According to a new leak courtesy ofSammyGurusand Onleaks, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will have a squircle design. The high-quality renders show that the Watch 8 Classic will have a rotating bezel. It’s not just a novelty feature, as you can rotate the bezels to navigate the user interface.
The design is rather interesting as the Galaxy Watch has a circular design on squircle frame. Furthermore, it will have a new orange button borrowed from theGalaxy Watch Ultra. This customizable button sits between the home and back buttons.

Moreover, the report claims that Watch 8 Classic measures 46 x 46.5 x 14.2mm. Despite the larger dimensions, it will be stuck at a 1.5-inch screen size and will be available in LTE and Wi-Fi variants.
Coming to the battery, it will have a 435mAh which is only a 10mAh increase over the Watch 6 Classic 47mm. Furthermore, it falls short of the 590mAh battery on the Watch 5 Pro or the Watch Ultra.
The Watch 8 Classic will be available in a single 47mm size, unlike the Watch 6 Classic. It was available in 43mm and 47mm watch sizes.
The Watch 6 Classic was the last Galaxy Watch with a rotating bezel since the company ditched the Classic in favour of the Ultra last year. However, Samsung is expected to reveal the standard Watch 8 and the Ultra 2 apart from the Watch 8 Classic this time.
Although there aren’t many rumours about the Ultra 2, there is a slight chance that Watch 8 Classic could be marketed as a spiritual successor to the Ultra.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will debut next month alongside theGalaxy Z Flip 7andZ Fold 7. Maybe we could also see the South Korean giant release acheaper Z Flip FEat the event, only time will tell.
