Rockstar Games is a division of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. There is news that they plan to announce the highly anticipated sequel ofGrand Theft Auto Vas early as this week, according to people familiar with its plans.
The company is planning to release a video teaser forGrand Theft Auto VInext month to celebrate Rockstar’s 25th anniversary. This was sourced from people who asked specifically not to be identified because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly. A spokesperson for Rockstar didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment sent after business hours.

GTA 6 release window, according to an insider at Rockstar Games
A few people were predicting the release window forGrand Theft Auto VIto be around 2024. However, the highly anticipated open-world title might shift back to Spring 2025! Now that’s quite the wait for players, but since we’ve already been waiting for a decade, this won’t be a big deal. Unfortunately for GTA fans, official updates on Grand Theft Auto 6 have been few and far between.
According to Tez2, an insider at Rockstar Games on theGTA Forums,“several devs”are leaning towards the spring 2025 release window forGrand Theft Auto VI. When a proper reveal forGTA VImay take place, Tez2 said,“I predict an announcement coinciding with the celebration of Rockstar’s anniversary somewhere between late Nov and early Dec. And if not that, then a Feb announcement.”
He also pointed towards a crucial point. Rockstar Games had a spring release window forGrand Theft Auto 5andRed Dead Redemption 2. This might not be something important to keep in mind, but there are chances that Rockstar might follow this pattern with the upcoming title as well.

We have already got confirmation from Rockstar that the highly anticipated title is in development. Apart from that, nothing more has been revealed. There have been instances of leaks like the game being set in Vice City and one of the protagonists being female, but Rockstar itself hasn’t confirmed any of those details.
