Bean reportedly brought up his experience of an intimate scene in his 1993 TV serialLady Chatterley, where the actor had a s*x scene with actress Joely Richardson. The scene was reportedly filmed without any intimacy coordinators, as it was not a norm back then. He said,
“Lady Chatterley was spontaneous. It was a joy. We had good chemistry between us, and we knew what we were doing was unusual. Because she was married, I was married. But we were following the story.”

Bean also allegedly expressed frustration over censorship on TV when it comes to intimate scenes.
