Back a couple of months ago, PlayStation revealed that they were looking to do a collaboration with Sports Icon LeBron James by creating a custom PlayStation 5 and controller. As of yesterday, thanks to a video Tweeted by LeBron James, we now have a visual of what this PlayStation 5 will look like and his reaction to getting this limited edition console.

What does the PlayStation 5 look like, and what was LeBron James’ reaction?
From what we can see from the video that was released by LeBron James, the console he received is a black PlayStation 5 and features some Iconography and wording which ties in with his Basketball career over the years, which says, “Nothing is Given. Everything is earned.” which is both written on the console itself and the controller right in the centre.
During this reveal video, LeBron James showed us how happy he was to finally receive this collaboration as he was over the moon once he received it and was even going to put the console to use later that night. Throughout the video, LeBron James showed his admiration by saying,
“This is insane right here. You guys don’t understand. Being a kid from Akron, having a collaboration with PlayStation? Oh my goodness. I gotta give a special shoutout to PlayStation, you guys are unbelievable for this collaboration. This is so dope.”
It is safe to say that LeBron James is very happy with his brand new console, whilst also giving a shout out to PlayStation.

Will gamers be able to get their hands on this limited-edition console?
Many gamers, when seeing this video were happy for LeBron James and understandably jealous as they looked on at his amazing new console, hoping that they could also get their hands on it and good news, they can. Currently, the controller and face plates for the limited edition LeBron James PlayStation 5 are now on sale on the PlayStation Direct website for gamers to grab, but as it is a limited edition, get them fast!
At the moment, both of these items are on sale at a rather reasonable price as the controller is on sale for $79.99, and the plates for the PlayStation console, both disced, and discless is currently set at $64.99, which is a rather reasonable price for a limited edition release, and hopefully they will stay around for a long time.
