Despite being introduced as one of the conniving villains in the MCU more than a decade back, people have come to cherish Tom Hiddleston as Loki in the franchise. And in recent years, that love has only grown at an exponential rate thanks to the character development Marvel Studios has subjected him to.
And when it comes time for the fandom to let the star know that his performances are nothing short of magic, they have creative ways of expressing it. But by far, one of the best is a fan who once shouted aloud in front of the star that his wife loved both Hiddleston and his character, to which he had no idea how to react.
Tom Hiddleston Couldn’t Revert Back To A Fan’s Compliment
For the decade that he has stayed true to his character of Loki in the MCU, it was as if English actorTom Hiddlestonhad almost inhabited the role, which to a major extent, he did. Therefore, people thought that he also may have acquired the infamous silver tongue of the Norse God of Mischief in the process.
But when one fan shouted out to him, claiming that his wife loved Loki as well as him in front of a large audience, he couldn’t say a thing.
During his panel at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con, theKong: Skull Islandstar was dressed as his divine MCU character for the audience to marvel at. While making his appearance, he also got into character and shouted ‘Say My Name!’, to which a fan shouted in response, saying that his wife loved Loki.

This was such an unforeseen moment that Hiddleston couldn’t react in any other way than suppress his laughter, too taken by surprise to reply to that comment. But this wasn’t the end of it by any means, as two years later, in another one of his panels at the SDCC, the same fan returned, and here, he once again shouted out to him, saying that his ‘Wife still loves him!’.
Naturally, seeing the star play the role of the character in the MCU, one cannot help but fall for both his and Loki’s charms.

If you have already seen the final episode of the second season of Disney+’s Loki, then you already know the fate that awaits the character for all eternity.
In the season finale, Loki becomes the lonely god who sits on top of the Multiverse, overlooking every single timeline in existence, which may mean that Hiddleston’s role in the MCU may have come to a satisfying conclusion. But on the bright side, if he oversees everything, then he may also make his presence felt in the MCU for the foreseeable future.
