It’s tough being a parent in this harsh and unforgiving world. There’s so much to teach your kids and so little time.HBO Maxhas come to your rescue.

Akeelah And The Bee
It is 2020 and we are still not past the shackles of racism. If you want to teach your kid the ideals and morals on how to treat others with respect, this is the movie for you. Akeelah and the Bee, which recently started streaming in HBO Max, stars Keke Palmer as a child Spelling Bee prodigy. But don’t let the Spelling Bee setting fool you. It has all the tension and drama to qualify for a sports movie. The movie touches upon several subjects likeracism, classism, and equality, leaving you on the sweetest of notes.
School Of Rock
There are not many actors with the same level of energy asJack Black. He can entertain people from all generations. School of Rock proves it without a shadow of doubt. The movie is a perfect template for a student-teacher relationship. Sometimes you need to think out of the box to help your children spread their wings. Rock Music is a very unorthodox method of teaching. But if you know how to do it, the world will listen to you. It was one of the greatest movies of 2003. Relive the magic again in HBO Max.
Where The Wild Things Are
This may not be a movie meant for children. It is made for the parents. After watching the film onHBO Max, you will be more inclined to empathize with your kids. The story is sometimes slow but we assure you it is totally worth it. Spike Jonze, Director of the movie, has gone on record to claim that the movie is not for children. It is for the people to relive the experience of being a child. You will be left content and happy at the end of Where The Wild Things are. We won’t even judge you if you start tearing up a bit.
Why does every children’s movie need to have a moral? Not everything is supposed to give you a life lesson. Look we get it. You want your kid to have the best of ethics and the best of whatever life has to put on the table. But sometimes your kid just likes to have some fun. What’s more fun than a talking pig learning to herd sheep? Babe is aclassicfor a reason. It’s not completely devoid of things to teach you but you would be missing the entire point of the movie if you start looking for clues.

Kiki’s Delivery Service
We have said it before and we will say it again.Studio Ghibliis a Quintillion times better than the generic crap Disney offers us nowadays. One prime example is Kiki’s Delivery Service. Not all Studio Ghibli movies are particularly child friendly. But Kiki’s Delivery Service sure is. The story revolves around a young girl called Kiki and her pet cat Jiji as they set out on an on adventure of their own. The tale is sweet, crisp, and extremely moving. HBO Max sure knows how to pick them.
