Modern Warfare 3has had a rough start as it faced severe criticism from players over certain things in the game and received mostly negative reviews from critics and fans alike. Some of these include the campaign’s length. hollow storyline, and the reuse of classic maps a little too much but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Modern Warfare 3also has issues with aim assist and snaking and players have raised their voices over this. However, it seems like Sledgehammer Games is paying attention to the fans, and the developers have revealed that they are working on the issues and will fix them in the future.
Sledgehammer Games To Bring All Important Updates to Modern Warfare 3
The main issues that theCall of Dutycommunity is facing inModern Warfare 3are that the players can snake in the game and that the aim assist is too powerful for players with controllers. However, Sledgehammer developers have revealed that they are working on fixing these issues and will soon improve them.
In an interview with content creatorRepullze, Sledgehammer Games’ Adam Iscove, Senior Development Director, and Greg Reisdorf, Multiplayer Creative Director onModern Warfare 3said that the the team at Sledgehammer is actively investigating how players are snaking and is working on tweaking aim assist based on community’s feedback and the developers will be focusing on player responses going forward.

Players have been using snaking to abuse the game as they lay prone and quickly take cover and move their heads up and down to avoid getting hit. The developers said that it is not a pleasant experience for either of the players and they are working on it. Greg Reisdorf commented about players exploiting snaking and said:
If you are snaking, you intentionally try to mess with the game and get that advantage. So when people see this from the other side and are actually trying to shoot that person, it’s not a great experience and it looks kind of weird and funky.

PC players have also been complaining that the aim assist is way too overpowered and gives controller-based players an advantage against PC players. The developers said it is currently “okay” but they want to look at it closely and tweak or remove it so that it has a similar experience for both kinds of players. They also added that the game will allow players to bind dive and slide.
The developers also commented on the server issues and said that the game was“historically stable at launch”but they are listening to community feedback. They further added that they are working on optimizing and removing the issues and will continue to do so. Iscove and Reisdorf also touched on the stamina topic and how it has changed from how it was in beta.

InMW3Beta, the stamina regenerated while players were sliding but now it pauses while they are sliding and regenerates when the slide is complete. The developers added that Sledgehammer will be adding HUD soon to help players manage their stamina more accurately. Iscove and Reisdorf addressed other things as well such as Weapon Prestiges and bonus camos and said that as much as they wanted to bring these toModern Warfare 3, they could not due to limited time.
However, they did not rule out the possibility of bringing them with further updates. They also shed some light on the upcoming season 1 that will bring new maps toModern Warfare 3as well as the 2019Modern Warfaregame mode, Gunfight. They revealed that season 1 will be dropping in early December but did not give a specific date.
