To save themselves from the embarrassment or the media sensationalism that their responses would generate, they are required to consume disgustingly unpalatable (yet miraculously edible) food items.
One of the questions asked early on was,“What’s your least favorite Hugh Grant movie?”The question was put forth by Grant himself, which put Pine in the spot. Were you in that?”The audience alongside James Corden burst out laughing, as the film Pine was alluding to, while a rom-com, was not a Hugh Grant film.
When Pine realized that there was simply no escape, he chowed into the edible monstrosity. To say he was repulsed would be an understatement.“I can’t even begin to tell you what just squirted out of that,”remarked Corden, equally disturbed.
The Film Hugh Grant Wishes He Could Erase From His Career
Grant had to disclose which movie he would erase from his IMDb page during one of the turns that he had the misfortune of taking part in. If he opted to remain silent, he would have to eat a terrible concoction of shepherd’s pie with worms and mayonnaise. The actor confessed that he wouldn’t be reluctant to shed off his CV. To quote him,“I specialized in being bad for decades.”Owing to certain performances in his career that did not resonate with critics or audiences, Grant’s response does not come off as a surprise.“I got better!”added theNotting Hillalum, affirming self-assurance.
The star then revealed the conundrum he was faced with:
“As you know, as someone in the industry, it’s one thing to say I was bad, but I can’t bring down the rest of my wonderful colleagues who worked with me on any film by saying it was bad … that’s my dilemma.”
Ultimately, Grant answered,“The Lady and the Highwayman.”The film mentioned is a 1988 swashbuckling romantic adventure made for British TV. Here, the actor particularly detested the costume he had to adorn. He observed that it made him look like the cartoon character, Deputy Dawg.
