Lords of the Fallen players have been experiencing several technical issues on PC.

The developers ofLords of the Fallenhave now shared tips for players to avoid performance issues on Steam that are hindering them from having a great experience.

Lords of the Fallen is Facing Technical Issues on PC

Lords of the Fallenhas done quite well with sales, going up to the third place on Steam’s global charts but players have been facing multiple issues on Steam, resulting in its amassing mostly negative reviews. Players faced several issues including low frame rates and constant drops even on the lowest settings, frequent crashing, and stuttering during gameplay.

There were also a few reviews praising the game, but the game mostly saw negative reviews. The game’s PC requirements are pretty demanding so there are chances that players trying to run the game on anything less than the minimum requirements are facing problems, but the game does not provide a smooth gaming experience at the moment.

Frequent crashes and FPS drops are some of the issues players have been facing in Lords of the Fallen

Lords of the Fallen Developer Shares Tips to Avoid Performance Issues

Lords of the Fallendeveloper Hexworks has jumped on the situation and responded to these technical issues with a tips guide forSteamplayers to avoid performance issues for a smooth experience. The developers have shared troubleshooting steps for players experiencing performance or in-game crash issues.

The first step shared by the developers is to use the “auto-set” option under the graphics tab in the game’s settings. This will help optimize performance and will apply the best settings according to players’ PC configuration. Another suggestion was to update the graphics drivers to the latest version.

Lords of the Fallen developer Hexworks have shared a guide to fix the technical issues.

The developers have also urged the players to try deleting their PSOs for more technical fixes. The steps to delete the PSOs are easy. Players can go to:

If players are still facing issues running Lords of the Fallen smoothly, the developers have provided a workaround for players to access the game. They also added that this step might result in some micro-freezes when players enter an area of the game for the first time but this might help as well.

Players can also send an email to developers to get their issues resolved.

Players can deactivate PSOs by right-clicking on the game in their Steam library and going to properties. Then they can enter the ‘-nopsos’ modifier in the Launch Options text box that is at the bottom of the properties tab.

Players still experiencing issues on their systems can send an email to developers at support@cigames.com. Players must ensure attaching a DxDiag file and other details that would be helpful to developers to resolve issues such as hours of play and steps to recreate the bugs. The developers have also asked the players to provide them with their GPU Debugging Log with the email.

Helldivers 2: How to Kill Tanks

To get the GPU Debugging Log, players can go to Steam settings and enter the following command “-gpucrashdebugging”. Then start the game and after the crash, head to – X:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\LOTF2\Saved\Logs\LOTF2.log. Players must then take both logs and include them in their email.

If the players are experiencing a crashing issue, they can send developers a text contained within the pop-up window that appears in the crash reporter window. They can click on “SEND” the information and the issue will go directly to the developers’ bugs database.

With the well-documented issues surrounding the performance ofLords of the Fallen,it’s likely that the developers will be inundated with requests for help. Whilst some have managed to play the game with zero performance issues, many have been plagued to the point of the game being unplayable, and with rumors swirling that the developer is worried about refunds – remember the launch ofCyberpunk 2077? – it’s no surprise they’re bending over backward to try and fix it.
