Known for playing Negan in AMC’sThe Walking Deadand its spin-offDead City, theDawn of JusticeStar initially rose to stardom following his part in CW’sSupernatural, starring Jensen Ackles at the forefront.

While he parted ways with the show back in season 2, sacrificing himself to save his son, the actor did go on to return in the 300th episode of the show and even asked the creator to increase his screen time.

Apart From Batman, Lobo Is the Only DC Character Jeffrey Dean Morgan Wanted to Play
WhileJeffrey Dean Morgan‘s Flashpoint Batman never came to fruition, this isn’t the lone DC character he expressed interest in playing. During his promotion of 2021’sThe Unholy, the actor showcased interest in tackling the intergalactic bounty hunter, stating that Lobo is badass. He toldCinePOP:
“I really wanted to do Lobo for a long time, but we’ll see. We’ll see, I have something maybe cooking and I’ll let you know soon if that turns out to be, but I love the world of comic books and hope that I get to stay playing in this world for a long time.”
