Iñaki Godoy Was A Big Fan of 2 Characters from The Video Game

Netflix has a‘Growing Up Geeked’video series on YouTube where they interview celebrities about their hobbies. During the conversation, Godoy discusses his love of video games and the two video game characters who have had a big influence on him. He explained:

“The first thing I really geeked out about was video games. I love Mario Bros. and Zelda, and growing up, those were, like, my two heroes, Link and Mario. Mario Galaxy is, like, one of the best pieces of art ever created. I just have so many amazing memories from playing video games. I would say that was, like, the first thing that I got really obsessed with. It was a way to explore different worlds, and I got to use my imagination a lot. I just really liked the storytelling. It made me feel very alive.”

While talking about his love for video games, Godoy stated that video games and acting are similar in many ways. He said:

“I grew up to be an actor, and I would say that video games have influenced me a lot. When you’re playing a video game, you put yourself in somebody else’s shoes, kind of like what acting is all about. I would really love a Nintendo GameCube because there are so many games that I would like to play. I would love to play Zelda: The Wind Waker, but not the remastered from the Wii U, the original one from the GameCube.”
