Tom Cruise Is Not Worry About Dying Filming Action Stunts
It is a question that haunts many fans ifTom Cruisemeets an accident while performing his crazy stunts. E! News reporter Keltie Knight finally asked the actor how he would feel about stunt death. When Cruise did the motorcycle stunt inMission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, every single cast member was worried and all just stood there and watched him fly with the motorcycle. Everyone thought he was going to die. But reflecting on the question Cruise gently replied that these stunts are his happy place.
“It is my happy place my life and Adventure. I always wanted that since I was a little kid. I literally thought about my life when I go, I want Adventure. Yeah, I want Adventure. So, it would have sucked because I want the movie and I want these people I want to make, you know, I like making movies. Trust me, I’m not thinking about that end of it. I’m thinking about, okay we’re gonna get this shot and how do we do it I don’t think about that stuff.”

The 61-year-old is still far from using a stunt double for his part as recently he did what seemed impossible for many.

Why Tom Cruise Does His Own Stunts?
The death-defying and blood-pumping stunts Cruise has performed over the years were nothing less than phenomenal. It seems that the actor touches death and comes back every time. Daring adventure as a trait was embedded in the actor’s blood since his childhood as he enjoyed much of his time racing bicycles over ditches and many other daring activities. Over time, the actor developed his fondness for blood-pumping adventures. But when acting, the actor said that he feels like“you’re bringing everything, you know, physically and emotionally, to a character in a story,”Cruise toldThe Graham Norton Show.“I’ve trained for 30 years doing [stunts], and it allows us to put cameras where you are normally not able to,”he added. He does it all for the audience.
“I know I’ve done some wild things, I know I’ve done some wild things. I think you probably have a better way to look at it than I do because I’m so inside of them when I’m doing it. I just know what we try to do with these films, and actually all of my movies. You know, I remember as an audience member, which I am first and foremost, and as a filmmaker, I make my movies for audiences, but I like a wide range of cinema, so I’ve always wanted to challenge myself in a wide range of genres and styles to understand each one. I’d go into it and study each one as I was making it and test my abilities,”Cruise told Collider.

Cruise is still moving forward. He is all set to appear in the eighth installment of theMission Impossiblefranchise,Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two. TheChristopher McQuarrie-directed action thriller is scheduled to hit theatres on 22 August 2025.
