It will bring with it a lot of horror and scares, as players will be able to enjoy 90s-styled first-person arcade shooting and top-down exploration puzzle solving as they adventure in a classical mansion setting made famous by other classical horror games.

As players are tasked with exploring the mansion in search of answers they will be constantly chased down by the hordes of the undead, who are attempting to stop them from progressing further.

While playingYou Will Die Here Tonight, gamers will undoubtedly die, which is okay as there are four playable characters who are part of the ARIES Division. Unfortunately, it is unlikely all of these characters will survive until the end of the game.

But that doesn’t mean before they die they cannot make progress by solving puzzles, fighting enemies, or just collecting useful loot in general.

Thanks to these different types of gameplay, this title brings a new form of immersion into the game. Players will explore the mansion from a top-down perspective as they solve puzzles, but once they encounter enemy hordes, they are tasked with holding them back using a first-person shooting mechanic.

The creators behindYou Will Die Here Tonightare Spiral Bound Interactive, which was founded by Jon Williams and Alex Schearer back in 2020.

This studio has taken on the mission to create classic gaming experiences that these developers grew up playing themselves, in an attempt to revive these original play styles.

Even though this studio is still relatively new, the developers who are working there and onYou Will Die Here Tonightaren’t as new as you would think. Many of the founders of Spiral Bound Interactive have over 20 years of game development experience.

They have even worked on some AAA games, likeRed Dead Redemption, or even some other indie games, likeSuperliminal.

From what we can see from the release date trailer, the small, passionate team that is working at Spiral Bound Interactive has outdone themselves regarding You Will Die Here Tonight.

It looks to be a fun and unique experience that will hopefully forge a new path for gaming developers looking to bring back the classic gaming experience from the 90s.

You Will Die Here Tonightis set to release on October 31st, will be releasing on Steam for PC users, and will have a price tag of $19.96, so grab it while the spooky mood is still in the air.
