The actress expressed her interest in working with him in a sequel to their film. During her appearance on theHappy Sad Confusedpodcast, she shared,
“I wish there could be [a sequel]. There was [a script] that Doug [Liman] kind of slithered over to me… I would love to make it a reality, but I just don’t know when, or how, or how many Mission: Impossibles does [Tom Cruise] need?”

In the film, the actress played the character of Sergeant Rita Vrataski, and her co-star Cruise played a cowardly part as Major William Cage, a role he hasn’t done much in his career. Talking about his role in the flick, she said,
“Come back to the side where you’re able to be… you know, wasn’t he brilliant [in Edge of Tomorrow]? He was amazing as the cowardly hero. I adored him. He was the best,” adding, “I’m so ready. I’m not the impediment. I promise.”

Despite sharing her on-set struggles working inEdge of Tomorrowand wearing those heavy exo-suits in her previous interview, the actress is ready to be part of another adventure and looking forward to her co-star joining her for a sequel.

Emily Blunt on Working With Tom Cruise inEdge of Tomorrow
In a candid interview, the Golden Globe award-winning star once revealed her experience working with herEdge of Tomorrowmovie co-starTom Cruiseand said,
“We had to wear these enormous suits, which I think would’ve been great if we had CGI’d them, but we wanted to do it in a tactile way. It was like 85 pounds. It was so heavy. The first time I put it on I started to cry, and [Cruise] didn’t know what to do.”
The actress continued,
“I was like, ‘Tom, I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this shoot,’ and just started to cry. I said, ‘I’m feeling a bit panicky about the whole shoot.’ He just stared at me for a long time, not knowing what to do, and he goes, ‘Come on, stop being such a pussy, ok? I did laugh, and then we got through it, but the training was intense.’”
While working in Cruise starrer movie appears to be fun,Emily Bluntshared her onset ordeal, admitting that she told him she didn’t think she could get through the shoot wearing those heavy exo-suites.
