This resulted in theStar Warsstar going shirtless for the fifth installment in the beloved franchise. Opening up about going shirtless for the movie at the age of 80, Ford had a wholesome response on the matter.

Harrison Ford feels blessed with his body

Harrison Ford defends de-aging technology used in Indiana Jones 5
Defending the de-aging technology that is used in the fifth installment of the franchise, Harrison Ford claimed this technology supports the story that they’re trying to tell with the film. TheStar Warsstar seems to be extremely pleased by the end product and is happy with how skillfully the technology was used, as it perfectly represents his younger self. Ford explained,
“It’s not photoshop magic. That’s what I looked like 35 years ago. [De-aging technology] is just a trick unless it’s supported by story. I think it was used very skillfully. I’m very happy with it.”
