The actor was alleged to have been accused of s-xual misconduct by several women when he was running for California Governor’s election. The incident later became known as Gropegate.

Arnold Schwarzeneggerwas already a famed star due to his bodybuilding career with the actor widely recognized as GOAT bodybuilder. He went on to become a global action star with his famedTerminatorfranchise which simply meant that he was formidable in the Hollywood world.
Back in 2003 when he was running to be the governor of California, several women opened up about how he used his celebrity status to inappropriately touch women s-xually.
He has been accused of s-xually humiliating women for three decades who met him in different settings. Six women talked about their unpleasant experience with the actor which happened between the 1970s-2000. The report shared that the three women accused the former of grabbing their brsts. A fourth said he reached under her skirt and groped her buocks.
Another stated that he tried to take off her swimsuit in a hotel elevator. Meanwhile, a sixth woman alleged that he grabbed her, pulled her onto his lap, and asked whether a certain s-xual act had ever been performed on her.

Back in 2003, the actor eventually admitted to behaving“badly”after trying to escape from the allegations. He recently addressed the“Gropegate” incident once again whenThe Hollywood Reporterreferred to his 2018 apology where he admitted that he “stepped over the line several times.”
“I think it’s very easy to understand. We are not perfect. We attempt to be, but there’s only one that’s perfect — God. My mouth is great, but it gets me into trouble.”
He continued to acknowledge that he behaved in the wrong way.
“My brain is great — it has the will to make a better world — but sometimes I f**k up. I make mistakes. I behaved badly.”
He felt guilty of his actions but he knew that he “cannot roll the clock back.”This is why he now focuses on being careful and wiser by considering others’ feelings.
He further acknowledged that he should have behaved better.
“Look, the bottom line is that even though the times were different, it doesn’t matter if it was 100 years ago or today. You have to treat women with respect and you have to treat people with respect. None of it is an excuse. I should have behaved better.”
Back at the time, he was engulfed due to allegations that would have threatened his celebrity career. But he eventually had to admit his wrongdoings after many denials by his campaign at the time.
