Samuel L Jackson is an exceptionally talented actor and one of the most well-recognized actors of current times, having starred in massively hit movies for more than three decades at this point. He has been part of some of the most culturally significant projects likePulp Fiction, Shaft, theStar Warsfranchise, theJurassic Parkfranchise, and his iconic role as Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The majority of actors who are as famous and successful as he is have shifted their career goals from the types and quality of movies that they do to the awards that they win, but this is not the case for Jackson.

Samuel L Jackson Is Not Interested In Winning An Oscar
Even though he won an Honorary Academy Award,Samuel L Jacksonrevealed that he is not interested in winning an Oscar. During an interview with Rolling Stone, he was asked if he ever felt like the film industry was taking him for granted. To this, he answered that things like this did not matter much to him, stating that when he is looking for movies to do, he does not approach a film with the objective of getting praise or winning an Academy Award for it.
“I’m not a statue-chaser. I’m a guy who likes to be challenged, but sometimes it’s fun to go make a movie with your friends and have a good time. It’s like going out on the street and playing with your friends, saying, “Let’s play cowboy.”he said
He instead wishes to make movies that he finds challenging rather than award-winning, adding that he is the type of person who likes to have fun when he is working, so he is more inclined to work with his friends, comparing it to playing with one’s friends. He then went on to talk about how he has the tendency of watching films, then wish he was in them, something that has led to his latest fixation.

Samuel L Jackson Wants To Be In A Korean Film
Samuel L Jackson then went on to explain that he had been watching a lot of Korean cinema. The Marvel actor explained how he has been wanting to be part of a Korean film for quite some time now as he loves the types of movies that make. He then went on to talk about a foreign film that has recently caught his eye.
“I see films that I wish I could be in. I’m still trying to find a Korean film that I could do because they make such great films. I saw Sisu the other night. Have you seen that one? That was dope. I like crazy movies like that.”he said.
Jackson mentioned a movie he recently watched calledSisu,a film set during the last days of World War II and showcased some tragic times in the history of Finland. Jackson talked about how much he loved this film, adding that he loves the type of movies that can be categorized as crazy and would love to star in something like it.
