Ghost Riderco-actress Eva Mendes received praise from Gosling as he spoke about the 2007 feature during the YouTube video that was conducted to promote his then-Netflix movieThe Gray Man.The 42-year-old proved to be an adorable partner when he repeatedly mentioned Eva Mendes with whom he has been there for 11 years. When he was asked“Movie you would take with you if you had to go on the run”, he was confident with his answer:

“Ghost Rider. I like the actress in that film… Big fan.”
It was not the last time he mentioned Mendes as her name was raised again when he was asked about an underrated movie. According to Ryan Gosling,My Brother the Pigstarring Eva Mendes and Scarlett Johansson is a movie everyone should see.

But it can’t be said that Eva Mendes was the sole reason why he pickedGhost Rider,as Ryan Gosling also mentioned the antihero later when he talked about his MCU debut. Earlier, when the Oscar-nominated actor was asked about a superhero he would love to portray, his answer was Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider.

Among a crowd of actors potentially heading for an MCU debut, Ryan Gosling was a major name who was speculated for several iconic roles. It was rumored that theBlade Runner: 2049actor could appear as Ghost Rider, Sentry, or Nova in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
But there have been no official reports from Marvel about his debut yet which makes it unlikely for the actor to enter the bandwagon so soon. Even though there were rumors about his possible addition to the upcomingFantastic Fourmovie, new statements from Emily Blunt state a different story.

Both Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling are set to be seen together in the upcomingThe Fall Guy.Although Blunt’s statements make it evident that we might have to wait a long to see Gosling play a superhero, we can never stop expecting unless the official reports arrive.
