Chris Pratt is one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood. He has become a fan favorite with his role as Peter Quill or the Star-Lord inGuardians of the Galaxytrilogy. However, one comical improv of the actor almost landed him in legal trouble.
Chris Pratt did a hilarious improv in one of the episodes of the popular television showParks and Recreation‘s season 2. However, it was considered inappropriate by the production house and he received a letter from them.

Chris Pratt shocked his co-star with an improv n*de scene
Chris Prattplayed the character of Andy Dwyer in the sitcomParks and Recreation. In the second season, the actor played an unbelievable prank in one of the episodes. The actor shared the story onThe Graham Norton Show,as he revealed going n*ked while filmingKaboom, episode six of the season.
Pratt recalled,
“We were shooting a scene where my character turns up n*ked at my costar’s door. I was wearing skin-colored underwear, and I wasn’t getting quite the right reaction I was hoping for.”
Hence, he decided to go n*ked to get a genuine reaction from actress Amy Poehler. The improved act was even used for the scene. Pratt recalled,
“It was late in the day so I decided to improvise and drop my trousers for the take … [Poehler’s] reaction was great! It was the take they used!”
Parks and Recreation season 2was aired between 2009 and 2010. It comprised 24 episodes.

Chris Pratt’s n*dity on-screen landed him A Letter From NBC
Thendescene was quite a hit among the masses, however, the NBC producers were not pleased by the improv act. The actor received a letter from the HR department for going against the protocol forndityin scenes in television shows.
Chris Pratt recalled,
“I got a letter from NBC’s HR department that said, ‘There is protocol about nude scenes. This is not a joke and you are being reprimanded and you can’t go around telling people about this like some kind of joke!'”
However, the actor took the notice sportingly and framed the letter as a joke,
“I’ve framed the letter!”
Chris Pratt andAmy Poehlerhave a close friendship offscreen. The actress mentioned in her memoir,Yes Please, about the audition ofthe Jurassic Worldstar.
She shared that his audition forParks and Recleft her awestruck. As perGood Reads,
“Chris had the best audition I had ever seen. No one knew his work, and he came in and crushed. He is a comedy savant and a natural actor in a way that I have never really seen.”
The actors worked together in the series for seven seasons from 2009 to 2015.
