Nolan’sThe Dark Knighttrilogy was a major achievement in theBatmanfranchise especially the fact that the filmmaker has given enough depth to its characters. The film gave significant importance to the story as the action sequences which is required in a superhero film.

While superhero films always try to give a light tone to the film, Nolan tried his best to use overly dark, gritty, or serious elements that made this trilogy efficiently great. Even the villains that were introduced in the film gave their best to showcase the terror it needed to develop the superhero subtly. Those minor yet important elements helped the franchise back into the market once again.
