Yamato in Type Soul
As mentioned, Yamato is a Universal Weapon in Type Soul. Meaning, aQuincy,Arrancar, and Shinigami can use it. However, the crit does depend on your race, making the weapon function differently. In line with how Universal Weapons work, you need to invest 50 stat points in Speed to be able to use the Yamato. It is a sword known for having fast, light attacks. Fun fact: the sword is inspired by the popular Devil May Cry character Vergil’s sword.

How To Get Yamato in Type Soul
Universal Weapons, in general, are quite hard to get. The only way to get Yamato in Type Soul is by using a Dimensional Shard. Dimensional Shards are pretty rare themselves, and you’re able to primarily get them by winning Clan Wars. To do that, you have to join a Clan first. If the Clan Leader calls a war and your side wins, you have a chance to get a Dimensional Shard. Use the item, and you stand a chance to get Yamato.
Alternatively, you can grind in the AFK World for a Dimensional Shard. The AFK World is a separate game mode in Type Soul where you can technically get items without much effort.
