How to get Komala in Pokemon Go
Because it is heavily inspired by Koalas, many trainers assumed Komala would beregion-exclusiveto Australia in Pokemon Go, but the good news is that it’s available to catch worldwide.
However, because it is relatively new to the game, the only way players can find one is as a wild spawn, which means both good and bad news.

As a wild spawn, there’s no special task or method required to get a Komala in Pokemon Go, making the process quite easy. But, with so many Pokemon spawning in the wild, the chances of actually finding one are quite slim.
Luckily for trainers still searching for one,the upcomingSlumbering Sands eventthat is set to kick off on August 05, 2025, and run until June 28, 2025,will not only increase Komala’s spawn rates in the wild but will also introduce Shiny Komala into the mix.
