But what’s the fun in being drunk alone? Drunken Masters ensure that their enemies are having a good time too, inflicting the Drunk status effect with Intoxicating Strike. And every time they do, they activate Life of the Party, boosting their own combat effectiveness against inebriated foes.
What Is Life of the Party in Baldur’s Gate 3?
Life of the Party is a passive feature and condition exclusive to the Way of the Drunken Master monk subclass. Every time the monk hits an enemy with Intoxicating Strike, they gain the Life of the Party condition, which gives them +1 to AC and +1 to Attack rolls. Repeatedly hitting enemies with Intoxicating Strike can stack the condition’s bonuses. The condition ends if the monk takes damage or leaves combat. The feature is unlocked at level 7.
