The iconic Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry captivates with its immersion in the Portkey Games title and allows players to access magical adventures on all platforms where the game is available. This winning number is revealed with Google Search Volume.
For Now, The Award For Most Popular Game Of The Year Goes To Hogwarts Legacy
Statistics fromFutbin, an online resource forFIFA Ultimate Teamplayers, showHogwarts Legacyas the most popular game in 2023, based on Google Search Volume over the last twelve months including locations such as the United States, United Kingdom, France, Brazil, and more, totaling ninety countries. The game, since its launch in February, sold more than twelve million units in the first two weeks, having been released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
Using Google Keyword Planner, the Futbin team crunched the numbers and discovered that behindHogwarts Legacyas the second most searched game of the year isResident Evil 4 Remake, released in March for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X and S. Being followed byEA Sports FC 24, Atomic Heart, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Diablo 4and more.
Furthermore, it was analyzed that the average number of monthly searches was highest in the United States, while Germany and the United Kingdom had the second and third highest numbers, respectively.

Set in the famous Harry Potter universe, but about a hundred years before the events of the film series, at the end of the 19th century. Playing the game, you learn spells from your teachers and other students, as you embark on a journey to discover an ancient secret hidden deep within the Wizarding World.
