TheBastille Daystar revealed how he once nearly lost his life when he tried to stop a stranger from harassing his girlfriend.

Idris Elbaover the years has played multiple roles in his career. Most of his roles have been armed with guns and firearms. Despite the fact that he is so used to guns, the star was left in terror after being held at gunpoint while trying to save a stranger’s girlfriend in the US.
In an interview, theLutherstar revealed how he tried to interfere and stop a man from harassing his girlfriend.
“I nearly lost my f***ing life, after attempting to stop a man threatening his girlfriend outside a club.”
He then went ahead to describe the whole incident,
“A guy whaling on his missus, screaming in her face, ‘I’ll f***ing kill you,’ and so on. I come round and I go ‘Look how beautiful she is. Why would you talk to this beautiful princess like that?’”
However, the stranger thought he was trying to woo his girlfriend and pulled out a gun.
“He pulled out a gun, stuck it right in my face, and goes, ‘You talking about my girl?’ He thought I was trying to hit on her. I remember thinking, ‘Don’t play negotiations like that… Consequences, man.'”
Luckily theGhost Rider 2star escaped unharmed from the dangerous situation, with the realization that it is better to think before intervening in situations like such.

This Wasn’t The First Time Idris Elba Nearly Lost His Life
Idris Elba has starred in multiple films and series throughout the course of his career. His acting job has required him to shoot through some terrifying locations as well as use some dangerous props. Once while filming forBeasts of No Nation, the actor nearly fell off a 90 feet waterfall after being careless on the slippery ground. Thankfully a security guard caught up in time and saved Elba from falling to his death.
In another incident, the actor had to shoot with a prop gun for the filmAmerican Gangster. His co-starDenzel Washingtonhad to put a gun n his head and shoot him. While the gun was a prop, it worked so well that it had Idris Elba convinced that he was actually shot.
Despite such harrowing incidents, the star has continued to soar and showcase his acting prowess in all genres, captivating audiences and earning widespread praise.
