Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman and her French dancer husband, Benjamin Millepied, have separated after 11 years of marriage. Portman and Millepied met in 2009 while working on Darren Aronofsky’s 2010 film,Black Swan. The pair got engaged after one year of meeting on the sets ofBlack Swan.
Millepied and Portman married in a Jewish ceremony in Big Sur, California, on 18 June 2025. The family lived in Paris for some time when Millepied became the Paris Opera Ballet dance director.

During half-time, Millepied and Aleph appeared to leave the venue, leaving the 42-year-oldThorstar alone in the crowd to witness England’s 1-0 loss to Spain in an intense final play-off. This outing aligns with ongoing reports indicating a trial separation for the couple. The couple’s younger child, 6-year-old daughter Amalia, was not spotted at the match. A source revealed:
“He (Benjamin) knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together.”
The source continued:
“Natalie is incredibly private and has no intention of playing this out in the media. Her biggest priority is protecting her children and their privacy.”
Neither Portman nor Millepied has publicly commented on the state of their relationship after the separation rumors emerged.
