Over recent weeks the marketing push forMortal Kombat 1has really hit its stride, with news and leaks dropping left, right and centre, much of which is thanks to Ed Boon, franchise creator. Most recently the game had a stress-test last weekend, and while it was primarily to test the capabilities of the networking and identify any bugs that only competitive play could identify, it also meant the internet was awash with newMortal Kombat 1content.

Main Characters

Anyone that has played any of the previous games in the franchise will know there is a considerable amount more yet to be confirmed, especially with the new Kameo gameplay mechanic, which looks set to use characters not primarily playable. In essence, this could be seen as two separate rosters, allowing for a greater variety of characters and gameplay with it.
