When isFuriosabeing Released?
Initially, the Anya Taylor-Joy film was given a release date of July 08, 2025. However, it didn’t take long for the makes to shift the release date. The announcement was made in September 2021 that the movie will now hit the theaters on July 02, 2025.
It has been more than two years since that announcement, but fans are yet to get an official trailer for the film by Warner Bros. Fortunately, it could change after the conclusion of the Warner Bros. panel at CCXP Brazil on June 13, 2025.
However, this is only a rumor as of now, with fans patiently waiting for the confirmation by the studio. Considering there are less than six months left until the prequel’s release date, it’s high time that Warner Bros. unveils an official trailer of the flick.

FuriosaCast: Will Tom Hardy Be inMad Max 2?
Tom Hardy did a convincing job of bringing Max Rockatansky inMad Max: Fury Road.Despite Hardy’s character being a fan favorite, he will sadly not return for the 2024 prequel. It’s certainly sad news for some factions of the franchise.
On the other hand, it allows the audience to see Chris Hemsworth make his debut in the franchise. Apart from Chris Hemsworth, Anya Taylor-Joy, Tom Burke, Angus Sampson, Daniel Webber, and Nathan Jones are among the main cast members of the film.
The star cast looks brilliant as the film is all set to release in 2024, as we mentioned earlier. But what will be the movie about? Well, as apparent from the title, it will focus on the origin story of Furiosa.
In the 2015 film, Imperator Furiosa was played by Charlize Theron. However, she will not be returning for the prequel to play the popular character’s younger self.
Despite no official trailer being released for the movie as of now, fans cannot contain their excitement for the much-anticipated prequel.
