The MCU is gearing up to start production on the upcomingFantastic Fourfilm. The story about Marvel’s first family has been made many time before but every one of them have been underwhelming. Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios have been working to make another Fantastic Four which is a part of the MCU.
Casting rumors about the film have been swirling for some time now. Many reputable outlets have now reported that Pedro Pascal is in negotiations to play Reed Richards in the film. In addition to that, it seems Marvel is eying another bonafide actor to play an iconic character in the film.

Marvel Studios have slowly begun work on their upcomingFantastic Fourfilm. Official casting news has now started swirling, with Pedro Pascal in negotiations to play Reed Richards. Now it seems the studio is eying another exemplary actor to play an iconic villain in the film.
According to the popular internet scooperJeff Sneider,Javier Bardemis the studio’s top contender to play Galactus inFantastic Four. This supposed casting news has not been reported by any reputed outlet and must be taken with a grain of salt for now.

While the casting scoop has not been officially confirmed, it would be an exciting choice for Bardem to play someone like Galactus. He is known for his intense and compelling performances and the character of Galactus requires that kind of aura. It will be a perfect casting indeed.

Matt Shakman is Excited to Bring A UniqueFantastic FourMovie for Fans
The MCU’sFantastic Fourfilm is scheduled to release on July 08, 2025. The film will be directed by Matt Shakman who directedWandaVision. The director was recently interviewed and he talked about his excitement about directing the film and its characters which he is a big fan of.
Matt Shakman talked toScreenrantabout the unique and distinct flavor that the Fantastic Four brings to the MCU and his promise to give Marvel’s first family the film that they rightfully deserve. He said,
“I love The Fantastic Four. I think I love the space race, Kennedy-era optimism of that world. The idea that we can solve all of our problems, that we can, through the right heart, the right mind, and the right technology, conquer any problem. It’s different. It’s different in so many ways because they are a true family.
With all the love, the hurt, and the complexity of that. And also, they approach things with a sort of an optimistic and scientific approach that is very different from these other Marvel characters that I absolutely love, but how they solve problems is unique and I’m excited about it as well. I hope folks like it when we put it out.”
Pedro Pascal is now officially in negotiations to play Reed Richards in the film. Other casting announcements are imminent and fans are going to have a field day discussing this casting news and the ones that’ll follow.
