Fortniteconcluded Chapter 4 with a fantastic Big Bang event featuring hip-hop artist Eminem, and has now introduced the latestFortniteChapter 5 Season 1, which is packed with content for players. There will be a new Chapter 5 map, weapons, Battle Pass, and so much more, but that’s not all.

Fortniteis also bringing three new experiences for players includingLEGOandRocket LeagueRacing. Below is the breakdown of everything you need to know aboutFortniteChapter 5.
Fortnite Chapter 5: Underground Brings Three New Experiences, Peter Griffin, and More
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1launched on December 3 at 3 AM PST and brought a massive overhaul to maps and weapons, added new game modes, and there were several other changes. The latest Chapter 5 will see players joining“The Underground”taking on“The Society.”Players will have to defeat The Society’s bosses including the most notorious Valeria and also save Peely.
Fortnite always has something new and amazing for players and this time is no different.Fortniteintroduced what it will be bringing into the game with The Big Bang event includingnew experiences. The new experiences includeLEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, andFortniteFestival. These experiences will launch later this week inFortniteChapter 5 and will be free to play.

LEGO Fortniteis a survival crafting LEGO adventure with an open world map, where players can create their LEGO characters and enjoy solo or with their friends.LEGO Fortnitewill become available on July 13, 2025, and is the first of the LEGO experiences in the game. This will bring new LEGO styles to players’ existing outfits as well as emotes for free.
The second new experience coming toFortniteisRocket League-inspired Racing mode called Rocket Racing which, is also developed by Psyonix. This mode will become available to play on Jul 01, 2025, and is described as:

“a supersonic arcade racer where players drift, fly, and boost with friends through an ever-growing selection of tracks.”
The third and final new game mode is calledFortniteFestival and will become available inFortniteChapter 5 on July 05, 2025. Players will be able to get on the stage and perform songs from some of the most popular artists in the world, alone or with friends.

This new music game is created by Harmonix, the studio behind theRock BandandGuitar Hero.FortniteFestival Season 1 will feature The Weeknd as the Music Icon, marking“the beginning of music gaming”inFortnite.
These new experiences will also earn players XP in The Big Bang Battle Pass, which is available to purchase for 950 V-Bucks and features some iconic outfits.

Players buying the Battle Pass will unlock Hope and additional new outfits including Oscar, Vengeance Jones, Nisha, Montague,Fortnitedebutante Peter Griffin fromFamily Guy, and notorious Valeria. Solid Snake fromMetal Gear Solidwill also join Battle Pass later on.
There is a new map in C5S1 with new POIs including Ritzy Riviera marina, Rebel’s Roost mansion, Grand Station at Reckless Railways, Hazy Hillside village, and Grand Glacier Hotel. The map is also getting a new moving train that will improve connectivity to different parts of the island. There are also new vehicles such as the Grandeur Trailsmasher SUV available on the map.
C5S1 also brings several new weapons to the game and this time the title adds new assault rifles, SMGs, and shotguns.FortniteC5S1 also gets a new mobility item, weapon mods, and a ballistic shield with a pistol to help players defend themselves and shoot enemies. The ballistic shield has infinite health, but it will ultimately be knocked down after much damage.
Some other smaller but notable changes include customizing weapons with mods, FlowBerry, a new fruit for recovering shield, Medkits and Shield Potions usage has been tweaked, reviving and rebooting will not hard reset anymore, but will slow down if you move away while reviving.
The Daily Quests are replaced by Match Quests and players will have three Match Quests that end with each match, and improved animation with new features called motion matching and procedural layering.
