During his appearance onLate Night with Seth Meyerin order to promote his upcoming comedyFamily Switch,Ed Helmsopened up about the ongoing demolition of his yard at the hands of raccoons. And it seems things have reached a breaking point after the actor barely escaped injuring himself after being tripped over by the raccoons. Recalling the hilarious incident,The HangoverStar joked that his expertise in performing stunts helped him avoid getting injured. He said,

“Thankfully, I’ve made a lot of movies and done a lot of stunts, and I was able to incorporate sort of my falling technique… About halfway through, I kind of-I kind of moved into a relaxed role,”

While it doesn’t seem thatThe HangoverStar is winning this battle against the Raccoons anytime soon, the video of him tripping over did give his wife a chuckle, making the commotion worth it.

Ed Helms’ Stuntman forThe Hangover 2Was Unfortunately Not So Lucky

Unlike Helms, who turned out lucky, unfortunately, this wasn’t the case for his Stuntman back during the production process ofThe Hangover 2. Scott McLean, who was standing in for Ed Helms during the car chase sequence found himself in a near-fatal accident following an alleged error from the coordinator, resulting in a“serious and unplanned head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle.”This led to a lawsuit being filed against Warner Bros. at the time, whose spokesperson did come forward to issue astatement.

“We were shocked and saddened by this accident and have been working closely with Scott and his family throughout his treatment and recovery.We have offered continual support since the accident occurred and we are working together to try and resolve any outstanding issues.”
