The 67-year-old actor,Bryan Cranstonin a recent interview with GQ has dropped a major update about his acting career. He opened up about taking a temporary retirement from acting as well as his business ventures to focus on his personal life.

He is planning to take a step back from his professional life in 2026 so that he can give his time to his wife, Robin Dearden.

Telling British GQ, he stated,

“I want to change the paradigm once again.”

As to why he planned to temporarily retire, he stated,

“For the last 24 years, Robin has led her life holding onto my tail. She’s been the plus one, she’s been the wife of a celebrity. She’s had to pivot and adjust her life based on mine. She has tremendous benefit from it, but we’re uneven. I want to level that out. She deserves it.”

His celebrity presence has indeed given him less time to spend with his family which is why he is taking a great step for himself and his wife.

While Cranston has made up his mind to give himself a well-deserved temporary leave from his glamourous side, fans are having mixed reactions on the same. While one fraction is happy for him especially the fact that he gave incredible characters on-screen, others are taking it not too well.

While fans are taking time to process the news, theGodzillastar has already planned for what he would do during his temporary retirement.

He has planned to shutter his production company, Moonshot Entertainment, and sell his portion of his Dos Hombres, which he co-founded withBreaking Badco-star Aaron Paul. After that, he will then be moving to a foreign country (probably France) with his wife.

The duo would then settle down in a small village, and spend their days learning the language, honing their cooking skills, and growing a garden. He has planned to keep up with his retirement for around six months when he would completely shut down the glamour world and enjoy experiencing some family time with his wife.
