Fox confirmed that the team is currently hard at work to get the next instalment ready and that it will be “playable from beginning to end”. There is a ‘but’ however; It’s not quite finished yet, nevertheless, Toby Fox and developer Lazsone are still putting the hours in to get the project completed.

What’s the latest News on Deltarune?

“Can’t say it’s finished yet, but the unfinished parts are certainly seeming less and less numerous. That’s good because try as I might to sleep, until the game is finished, I’ll see nothing but nightmares…

Fox gave more details aboutDeltaruneby touching on some content that isn’t going to make the final cut:

Deltarune

“Earlier, we were considering having a stealth-focused section in the game where you would slowly, slowly sneak around certain areas. After developing some concepts, we realized a mechanic which basically just makes you move slower isn’t necessarily fun.”

Although it’s unfortunate that Fox has had to cut interesting content fromDeltarune, the game’s limited budget and smaller developer team make the thought process behind the decision more understandable.
