The Man Without Fear has finally found his permanent home in the House of the Mouse after a few years of tumultuous speculation.Daredevil, which earlier premiered on streaming giant Netflix has now returned to Disney+, alongside other Netflix’s Marvel shows to be a part of the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. Charlie Cox, who played the role of Matt Murdock in the gritty, dark superhero drama also returned, marking his first appearance inSpider-Man: No Way Home.

While it has been confirmed by Cox himself that hewishes to have more crossover appearancesin the future, the possibility of the fourth season ofDaredevilis yet to be confirmed by Marvel Studios. As Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock is heavily rumored to appear in the upcomingShe-HulkandEchotelevision series, fans are still waiting for the character to star in his own show.

According toMurphy’s Multiverse, new evidence has surfaced regarding the said fourth season ofDaredevilas Disney has set up Blind Faith Productions LLC, implying the production. Considering that Daredevil is blind and has deep-rooted faith in Catholicism, the company’s unique name serves as an easter egg for the future of the character. Now,Production Weeklyhas reported thatDaredevil Rebootis incoming with Kevin Feige and Chris Gray serving as the show’s producers. Will Daredevil Season 4 Continue From Where It Left?
If the above reports are to be believed, Marvel Studios might be inching away from the gritty, dark drama that madeDaredevila critical success in the first place. As a reboot, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock might not be picking up the series from where it left at the end of the third season. While this is surely disappointing for a lot of fans, no official news has yet been revealed regarding the storyline. As expected, Marvel Studios is keeping everything regarding Daredevil under tight wraps for now to avoid any speculation regarding the character’s tonality. Moreover, the decision to bring back Netflix’s Marvel shows to Disney+ has also received some backlash considering that the shows are aimed at a more mature audience.

On a positive note, Charlie Cox has revealed that his future in the larger MCU is surely going to be exciting, and not just limited to brief cameos. While it has been confirmed that Cox will be playing the iconic role in the future, it is also expected that his fellow co-stars Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) will also be reprising their roles in the upcoming series.
“I think at this point, I expect to be involved in some capacity. Otherwise, it would be a bit of a weird one-scene moment. I don’t know much, I know a little, and what I do know I’m very excited about…there’s a chance it could be the next ten years of my life.” – Charlie Cox

After the overwhelmingly positive reaction to Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock’s appearance inSpider-Man: No Way Home, it is only a matter of time before Marvel Studios capitalize on the character’s popularity. If everything goes well, fans should also expect the return of Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and the Punisher soon in the MCU.
